  1. Would have loved to see this exhibition. www.designboom.com/art/tim-walker-five-d…

designboom.com tim walker traces five decades of queer activism through portraiture in 'fairyland' tim walker turns his visual language toward queer history in fairyland: love and legends, a major exhibition at the national portrait gallery.
  2. Avatar: Seven Havens looks promising so far, story-wise, but that animation is too choppy and stiff. 🥴

  3. Thanks to the Nova, I’m rediscovering my love of (Pokémon) games.

Retroid Pocket Nova, GameCube colored, laying in the table running Crystal in Gen1Recomp with Voxel Mod.

  5. Anyone know a good Notion alternative? I used it to track and inventory everything: tasks, wishlist, bookmarks, reading list, travel plans, notes, recipes, groceries, etc. but those absurd price increases are waaay out of my price range.

  6. The insidious ways of Israhell have hit another milestone: An Israeli firm is behind all the “rogue AI” hacking scandals involving OpenAI, Anthropic, and Meta: www.effort.news/irregular

  7. Beyond obsessed with this giant HR Giger book I found at a local bookshop today.

A biography and art book about HR Giger featuring his work displayed on a wooden shelf. On the cover: dark, surreal, biomechanical with a central humanoid face and skeletal figures.
  8. Seeing the politics of modern fascism within Colombia has been utterly horrifying; every day brings some terrible news, and we’re all living in a constant state of terror and anxiety.

  9. Watching Homeland for the first time, and it’s impressive how the show gradually becomes more anti-US imperialism and anti-Zionist.

It reads as though, just like Carrie, the more the showrunners and writers learn the more they get radicalized themselves.

  10. I’m looking for a graphic designer or artist who can help me define my personal brand. I’m currently using a combination of a very old logo, my Apple Memoji, and Notion Face; the last two are fine for a profile on a website, but they don’t feel right for defining my professional identity.

  11. So pissed at myself for not going to Lollapalooza this year. 😭🎵

  12. Seeing Spider-Man: Brand New Day the same week as The Odyssey gives you a certain kind of whiplash. 🎬

themoviedb.org Spider-Man: Brand New Day Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn't remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter Parker he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves - a powerful villain no one can even see.
  13. Disappointed that the X-men ‘97 writers chose to fridge Magik.

  14. Not in a thousand years would I have imagined the company I’d be working with next.

  16. Watching the new He-Man movie, and if I’m getting this right, the Power of Grayskull is steroids? 🎥

  17. I haven’t seen much on social media about mass protests in the US regarding current events. I wonder if this is due to information suppression or genuine inaction.

  18. What an incredible episode of #X-men97 !! Felt specifically made for me with Monet, Danger, Polaris all featured.

  19. The idea that we’re losing all comics sites because of an Amazon crackdown is sending me down a spiral; I live in Colombia and access to comics is not easy. 📚

  20. Been noticing some issues lately with sites logging out, or constantly requiring verification.

For example, I always need to log in when using “Sign in with Apple”, and Shopify is constantly asking me to verify. It’s mostly sites using passkeys so I wonder if that’s the issue.

  21. Read this exchange today on Design Twitter.

Person A: Maybe in an age of agents, this is the new way to open source – open source the ideas, not the code …

User 2: Yes! I love this. Open sourcing a spec is an interesting spin on it, and solves the issue of feeling like you need to thoroughly clean up and then maintain live code

Was quite surprised. Is it a lack of understanding of open source, or because OOS is not compatible with the big LLMs that all depend on stolen data?

  22. Can’t believe @Bluesky doesn’t have media in DMs yet. What’re the technical limitations?

  23. The enshittification of A24 was not on my 2026 bingo card. 📽️

    www.theverge.com/entertainment/953596/go…

theverge.com Google invests in A24 to build AI movie tools “This ensures the tools of the future are shaped by the creators who use them.”
  24. Sad day for us in Colombia, as the far-left wins the election. Hoping the country doesn’t fall into chaos in the hands of neofascism like other American countries.

  25. Add Cron to the list of apps ruined by being purchased by a bigger company. Feels like it’s been on life support since being acquired by Notion.

  26. Pokemón Emerald running on your browser using WebAssembly! 🤯 pokeemerald.com

  27. Hello 👋🏼

First time posting on a personal blog. Very excited! I’ve always wanted to do something like this, sharing my thoughts without all the noise. Sometimes it’ll be shit-posting, other times sharing more serious thoughts, and occasionally, hopefully, some long-form posts.
